Kristy Butterfield, AKA The Wildstyler
The Wildstyler wasn’t built from a business plan.
It started in a hard season, with flowers, a camera, and the simple need to make something beautiful and real.
Growing became a way to steady myself.
Not because it fixed everything, but because it reminded me that care matters. Light matters. Space matters. Small, consistent attention changes things.
Somewhere between rows of dahlias and long wedding days behind the camera, I stopped shrinking. I started trusting my eye, my instincts, and the way I wanted to create.
What began with documenting blooms grew into documenting people too - their connection, their quiet moments, the in-between glances, the laughter, the feeling of it all.
That’s how The Wildstyler, Wildstyler Wedding Photography, and Feral Flower Farm came to be.
Not from ambition alone, but from building something honest. Something grounded. Something that felt like freedom.
Now, I create in a way that feels true to me - moody, romantic, and… a little feral.
Whether I’m growing flowers or photographing a wedding, I care about the same thing: creating work that feels real.
The right people always recognise that.
If that sounds like your kind of world, welcome.
You’re in the right place.
