I’m Kristy, the creative force behind The Wildstyler Photography and The Wildstyler for floral design. My passion lies in capturing the raw, edgy, and untraditional side of life through my lens, my floral creations, and my words. Whether it’s a grungy, rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic, or a bold, empowering theme, I thrive on bringing out the unique personalities and stories of the people I work with.

Through Wildstyler Photography, I love sharing the incredible journeys of the women, and men, who step in front of my camera. From Joan and Elaine’s fun-filled photoshoot at Parkwood Retirement Village, where these two best friends wore flower crowns that reflected their vibrant spirits, to Libby’s crochet, flowers, and tattoos session that screamed strength and badassery - I’m all about celebrating the power and beauty of stepping outside your comfort zone.

My work is not just about photography; it’s also about the artistry of floral design. The Wildstyler floral design allows me to express creativity in a whole different way. I craft floral arrangements that are as bold and unique as the people I work with. Whether it’s a highly scented flower crown that adds an extra layer of sensory experience, or a bright and colourful birthday bouquet that perfectly matches my customers love for vivid hues, my floral designs are always tailored to enhance the personality and vibe of the person, or photoshoot, I’m creating for.

In my blog, I’ve written about everything from a 1960s-themed shoot featuring a mustard-coloured hair dryer and a mass of blooms, to Jen’s bright 1990s vibe in a derelict building surrounded by ruins. Each photoshoot tells a story, and I’m passionate about capturing those moments that make you feel seen, empowered, and exceptional. My floral designs play a crucial role in this (and other) storytelling, adding texture, colour, and a touch of nature to each scene.
